Century Child es un álbum del grupo de metal finlandés Nightwish. Es su cuarto álbum, publicado en el año 2002.
Es el primer álbum con el bajista Marco Hietala, anteriormente miembro del grupo Sinergy, quien también hace voces, reemplazando a Sami Vänskä. Century Child incluye canciones que tocan una gran variedad de temas y pensamientos en sus letras, desde la furia (en Slaying the dreamer) hasta el más completo romanticismo (en Forever yours).
La producción del álbum es muy cuidada. El disco también tiene la particularidad de incluir un cover de "El Fantasma de la Ópera" (The Phantom of the Opera) escrito e interpretado para Sarah Brightman y Michael Crawford. El tema también fue reeditado por bandas del mundo del heavy metal gótico como Dreams of Sanity.
