Airbourne es una banda de hard rock proveniente de la ciudad australiana de Warrnambool, Victoria. Editaron su primer EP en 2004, Ready to Rock, después de conseguir una consolidada popularidad en su ciudad de origen. Un año después, en 2005, la banda consiguió un contrato de cinco álbumes con el sello Capitol Records y comenzó a telonear grupos como The Rolling Stones y Motley Crue, además de tocar en varios festivales de verano. En 2007, editaron su primer LP bajo el nombre de Runnin' Wild, concretamente el 23 de junio. De este trabajo han sido extraídos tres singles: "Runnin' Wild", "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" y "Diamond in the Rough".
