Orphaned Land es una banda de metal progresivo formada en Petah Tikva, Israel, con influencia de la música de Oriente Medio. Se fundó en 1991 bajo el nombre de Resurrection, nombre que cambiaron por el actual en 1992. La banda fusiona el metal progresivo, el doom metal y el death metal con la música folk de Oriente Medio y el mundo árabe, siendo una de las bandas pioneras del oriental metal.
